Before I finally decided to stump up the cash for this lens I was using the 24-105mm f4 L lens which I adored, or at least I thought I did, until I bought this! It's pin sharp at all apertures and focal lengths, you can shoot all day at f2.8 and know that you'll get fantastic image quality and the bokeh is outstanding. I LOVE this lens. It's a shame that it has to be quite so expensive though!
