Bought this to put our new curved screen 55" tv on and it looks really good with the screen at the ideal height. There is room - just - for the sound bar to fit in front of the tv and plenty of space on the two shelves beneath. The tangle of cables disappears at the rear. It is solidly constructed and supplied with small optional screw in adjustable feet, not needed on carpeted floors. Excellent purchase.

Very pleased with this - we bought a 49inch Sony and the john lewis staff assembled both. Staff were brilliant - really helpful, friendly and knowlegable. The unit fits nicely across a corner and doesn't look as dusty as the more open sided glass ones can. Very pleased

Received this TV stand promptly as per usual John Lewis service. My husband started to put this together and all was well until it came to the point of putting the final glass top on. We had previously had to stick small vinyl pads on to the carcass in order to cushion the glass top. Unfortunately, when we came to put this final piece on, it rested on the cushioned pads in some places but not others. In the end we had to remove the pads from the outer carcass, thereby just leaving the ones on the inner supports as we felt it was at this point that the cabinet was taking the weight of the TV.
In the end everything seemed ok, but we do have 4 cushioned pads that we cannot use and the glass top is only supported on the inner supports and not on the outer carcass.
Visually the TV stand looks lovely and hopefully all will be well when we get around to getting a larger, heavier TV on it, but only time will tell

I am generally sceptical about self assembly products in this price range, but JLP is usually a sign of good product sourcing and if an issue - well, it could always go back!
I need not have worried, it assembles easily and is superb quality, joins are exact when locating, fixing provided good quality etc.
And of course the end result, it looks great, hides all the untidy cables and our 50" set looks fantastic on it too.

Needed a stand for our new 42" TV - this fitted the bill perfectly - its shape means it looks quite discreet in the corner of our lounge.
As usual build instructions had to be read a couple of times but once we got the hang of them it went together easily and is very sturdy.

This product is easy to put together yet very sturdy. It is stylish and versatile. I had to match rustic furniture and a modern tv and this product has matched both perfectly. Would buy again, infact my parents want one after seeing mine!

The stand looks good but I was disappointed to find it would not take the 55inch TV I had ordered it for. Consequently had to cancel the order and I am now looking at 51inch TVs. The stand may well take the weight of a 55inch but only with the very small rectangular support base on the TV. This is a poor product description by JL. The stand was easy to assemble and is aesthetically pleasing.
