I have now owned this cooker about 3 mths. It's quality cooker, but I would say the build quality is very poor. Within 1 month a cooker hob control knob simply came off when I was cleaning the face of the cooker. Although I was able to fit it back on, it wasn't great. Then again while cleaning cooker panel light covers snapped and fell out. It was put back back doing so created a scuff on the surface which I now have to live with. In hindsight I wish I'd purchased a more durable model.

Cooker arrived with missing button for the ignition and no supports for shelves in main oven. Both supplied by post but shelf supports were incorrect type for shelves. More supplied by post but still the wrong type again. I am still waiting for the correct ones. Cooker was bought two months ago and I still cannot use the the main oven. This would be a good cooker if I could just get the correct parts! Very frustrating.

Had our 600DF for 5 weeks now and to echo what has been already said, it really is a fine looking cooker. Both ovens are great to use and the main fan oven is excellent. It really puts our old Zanussi to shame.
However, it hasn't all been good news. On delivery we found the glass lid/cover made a clanging noise when raised. This was due to a poorly installed spring. The main oven seal had not been properly fitted and the retaining screws on the lower hinge of the main oven door had not been tightened. We have also had one vist from an engineer to replace a faulty thermo coupler and the oven bulb packed up yesterday. Most of these issues were small, easily fixed, niggles but they have slightly dented our confidence. The faults should have been picked up at the factory before the cooker was dispatched. I hope we haven't got a 'Friday afternoon' model but time will tell.
Incidentally, the lid does have a safety switch which cuts out the burners if lowered when they are on. This may be a recent modification.

Very pleased with this 600DF cooker. Everything about it is robust and functional. It looks good and cooks very well. Had a minor problem with one function knob where the lettering rubbed off within a couple of days. Replaced following a phone call and replacement 100% perfect. (Previous had surface, not engraved markings). Fan cooling of function knobs when grill in use is excellent - no more burnt fingers!! Three level of grill heat and then all the available height adjustments provide perfect results to every grilling requirement. Well Done Stoves! Thank you.

Finally received our new Stoves Sterling Dual Fuel Cooker, i've got to say on face value it is probably one of the best looking slot in cookers around however as there is a lot of stainless steel on it, it is hard to keep on top of the finger prints and smudges, this is a small cross to bear for the good looks. Works perfectly and is handy having the twin fan assisted ovens and gas hob. The only down side is the glass lid doesn't have a gas lock out once the glass lid is down. Very pleased with the product overall.

I received the dual fuel cooker in time to get used to it before the heavy Christmas usage and must say that I am delighted with it. The main fan oven cooks perfectly and evenly, unlike my last cooker which seemed able to incinerate anything with ease. The control of cooking on the gas hob is exactly what I was looking for and is easy to wipe clean, and having a simple light in the top oven as well as the main oven makes seeing what is going on in it much easier.
An excellent product; no complaints.
