Really happy with our new purchase.
Pros:
- The cooker works well, looks great and is easy to keep clean ( love the pyrolytic clean).
- Door glass clips out easily and makes it easy to keep clean.
- would highly recommend this item.
Cons:
- Brushed steel does scratch very easily when cooking. A very soft metal.
- Difficult to get accurate temperature as knobs turns easily and do not click at temp chosen.
I have to add that Smeg customer service is appalling. I had a terrible time trying to get my cooker connected after Purchase and 3 weeks later John Lewis finally arranged for connection of the item. ( John Lewis was fantastic) . Had it been left to Smeg it would still not be sorted out, So be aware when purchasing this item, if you have to deal with Smeg you will get extremely poor service from Smeg. Therefor i have had to give it 3 stars!
Despite the above service from Smeg, I would still buy the cooker as it is such a great purchase.

I love my smeg cooker! Apart from the obvious features I would like to mention the self cleaning setting - really works! -, and the double ring for the wok - heats everything up really quick.
Downsides: the manual, the website descriptions all say you can remove the internal glass panel for cleaning. I've had this cooker installed about 10 months ago but I've yet to figure out how to take it off.
the gas rings are difficult to clean but I don't think it's any more complicated than with any other cooker.
I really like that the glass door is cool touch, so kids, animals and bare legs are safe.
The rotisserie is awesome, altough after using it you will have to clean the whole oven because grease will splash everywhere.
It is a sturdy cooker, you will need one of those special stainless steel polishing liquids to keep it in excellent condition.
The designers could have added a glass cover but still I am ever so glad I went for this Smeg cooker than with some of the cheaper brands. Money well spent!

I absolutely adore my new Smeg cooker. Admittedly it replaces a 40 year old cooker!
The features are great, and we've used the rotisserie twice already!
One feature we hadn't considered is the clear glass door, which thankfully doesn't get hot at all, as our dog finds watching food cooking fascinating!
Love it! The only slight negative is that you have to arrange installation yourself as Smeg literally just deliver it to your house.

Big range features in a manageable size.
The grill plan can take six large slices of bread for toast.
The hob is very stead on my pans which slipped off my previous hob. I had bruises to show for this.
Five different levels for the oven/grill racks.
It's extremely quick to get the oven to temperature.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this cooker. Having used an all-gas cooker for many years, I'm still finding out how to get the best out of the electric oven! Cakes, mince pies and Christmas lunch have all been cooked well - as have various more everyday dishes. It is, of course, a pleasure to be able to use a gas hob still, as the temperature can be adjusted instantly.
One drawback is that the control knobs are too easy to move - we've inadvertently leant on them, sometimes changing the oven settings or the gas ring levels.

I'm looking forward to trying out my new Smeg Cooker, however the door lock has been faulty (on) since I bought it and I am waiting two weeks for an engineer to come and fix it. The hob works well though.

Product came very quickly and I am pleased with it - the only reason it did not get an 'excellent' score is because I find the oven quite noisy when it is on, and the fan appears to be on in all the settings. The fan also stays on for some minutes after the oven has been turned off.
Other than that, it cooks perfectly and I am happy with it.

Supplied on time and price-matched, unpacked by Smeg delivery men. Required registered plumber to connect hose. Once connected works a treat saving a lot of gas after the all gas Cannon it replaced - and not using a lot more electricity either. High power gas ring is a revelation for instant high heat. Hob rings become covered with burn marks very quickly - very difficult to clean back to the polished original- guess we will give up and accept this. Oven controls could be better explained as there are 10 oven combinations! Rotisserie (whole chicken) very fiddly to get right, again instructions not as clear as they could be, also creates a lot of smoke at the recommended temps needed to turn way down Good fine temp control with 'up to temp' bell. So first month good! would recommend
