Suberb addition to the kitchen.
Well constructed, no plastic parts to fail.
Looks the part and does the job.
Quick quiet boil, non drip pouring.
Unable to find any fault as yet.
Rather expensive, but I expect it to outlast cheaper models we have had.

The first kettle that arrived had scratches on the 'chromed' cover to the handle so the quality control ex works for an item retailing at this level is poor,the John Lewis staff dealt with this very efficiently,a replacement arriving the following day. The kettle is all that I had expected though the lid is difficult to open as the 'pips' that are part of the inner lid rim are too much of an interference fit to the body of the kettle. to make it user friendly to all.

I have had other kettles that didn't last. So when I discovered Dualit I was pleased that the quality and performance were great. My previous kettle lasted for six years. I have just upgraded to this model for the features mentioned, the replacing of parts, the noise factor and lastly the cooper colour. It may be expensive initially but the long life of the kettle means you do get value for money.

Dualit products really do live up to the "you get what you pay for" adage. I bought this kettle because I have been so pleased with my Dualit toaster.. The quality is fantastic; solid and beautifully finished. Easy to read gauges, non-drip spout, faster-and-quieter-than-others boiling. It also has a replaceable element (maybe the start of a return to times of 'repair not replace' like the old days?!). An expensive item but well worth it and I would thoroughly recommend it.

This kettle is fabulous. It looks so stylish (I bought the polished stainless steel version), and boils really quickly. No dripping from the spout. Easy to read the water level indicator so I never boil more than I need. It's definitely quieter than my old kettle too. I love it so much I'll probably have to buy the matching toaster! Expensive yes, but fully repairable if the element ever goes so that's really reassuring.

This is the best kettle I have ever had may seem a lot of money at the time but worth every penny. I would recommend this to every one who has had a lot of kettles but never get it correct you will never change.

I have now had the kettle for two weeks and am absolutely delighted by it. The only negative thing I can say is that it was too expensive. The decision was easier to make as I already have the matching toaster from John Lewis.
I wanted a kettle that would meet my primary requirements.
It is made primarily of Stainless Steel. The only parts made of plastic are the water level viewing mirrors.
The catch on top of the lid is screwed from underneath, not glued.
It boils quickly and quietly. No steam exits from the lid which reduces boiling time. Condensation in the kitchen is kept to an absolute minimum.
It has an easy pour spout with little chance of unnecessary spillage.
The kettle looks beautiful.
The 2 year guarantee from JL gives piece of mind.
Anyone agonising over spending such a large amount of money should have no fears.
