As expected with any KitchenAid product, the quality and robustness of this mixer is to a very high standard. The only slight critisism that I have about this is that when mixing liquids (e.g. cream) there's quite a lot of splash back due to the shape of the beaters. They are more rounded than most other models therefore I'd advise a big bowl even when mixing small amounts of liquids.

Needed to replace a Dualit that went wrong after 3 years. We started by buying two other products from a big name brand not sure if allowed to name (K and mix...), before returning both and exchanging for this. It may have only an 85W motor and it may be 5 times more expensive than other electric handheld whisks .... but after using to make a béchamel (first evening we bought it) we realised why it costs so much. It does exactly what it says on the tin, and does it really well. No concern that it is only 85W. In addition, the red colour makes for a nice little chef's gadget in the kitchen. Highly recommend. Would buy without hesitation.

No matter what I have mixed it has done it extremely efficiently and with ease. All the accessories work very well whether whipping cream or cake mixing.
