4K UHD Video Transmission for Professional Videography
The Hollyland 4K UHD Wireless Video Transmission System is designed to combine reliable quality and high-resolution performance for professional videography. It is capable of an ultra-low latency of 0.06 seconds and an LOS range of 450 ft. (150 metres). It supports 4K UHD video transmission at 30 fps along with HD and FHD video formats (at varying frame rates – 24p, 30p, and 60p) for the discerning videographer looking for high-resolution production capability. It uses an upgraded dual-core codec chip, capable of a data rate ranging from 8 Mbps to 20 Mbps (default – 12 Mbps). It supports SDI and HDMI input and output for expanded compatibility and connectivity. The SDI provides expanded frame rate flexibility for broadcast and production frame rate standards along with expanded compatibility through production and postproduction.
Flexible Monitoring and Efficient Operation
The Mars 4K transmitter can be used with up to four mobile devices with the app installed and up to two receivers. It allows a maximum of four parties (such as audio personnel, light control personnel, producer, and director) on the site to monitor the shooting at the same time. It enables easy and efficient operation with its well-thought-out design form factor. Featuring wear and super-corrosion-resistant construction, the transmitter provides outstanding durability and optimised functionality. The disassembly-free design includes bullet-styled antennas attached to it for fast and reliable configurations. The colour LCD comes with an exclusive rocker-styled button for quick configurations and status checks. It features a user-friendly UI design and an improved operational setup experience.
Channel Assignment and Power Options
The Smart Channel Scan and Selection feature of the transmitter provides channel assignment options for an interference-free transmission. It enables a stable connection automatically upon startup. The channel scan helps determine which channels are occupied and selectable before selecting one for seamless and uninterrupted workflow. Supporting a wide range of power supply options, the transmitter can easily be powered using NP-F batteries, USB Type-C chargers, and other DC power options.

How can the channels be scanned on Mars 4K?
The channels are automatically scanned and selected on Mars 4K but there may be some interference if Mars 4K video gets stuck, mosaic, or snowflakes. You can scan the channel to check interference by long-pressing the rocker button on the receiver to enter the menu and select “Scan”. A ‘red’ point means that there is interference, and a ‘green’ point means that this clean channel can be used.
How to power the video transmitter?
The Mars 4K video transmitter can be powered in 3 ways – by a USB Type-C charger, NP-F batteries, and other DC power supply options.
Can the fan be adjusted?
The built-in fan for heat dissipation can be found in the transmitter and the receiver. It offers two fan settings – automatic mode, and silent mode. The noise gets reduced in the silent mode.
Which application can be connected to the transmitter?
Mars 4K supports the Hollyview application connection on your smartphone.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
