The MagMod MagGrid 2 is a compact version of a softbox that fits onto a hot shoe flash. With 40° angle grids, this tool offers a concentrated light light beam while eliminating light spill. The beam can be tightened by stacking multiple units together. Manufactured from silicone rubber, this grid remains flexible to prevent chips and cracks during use.

An optional MagGrip or Magigrip 2 adapter is required for attaching this accessory magnetically to a flash head.

Can I control the light beam with this grid?

This grid tightens the beam angle to 40° to cast selective lighting to your subjects. But if you want both diffused and precise light spread, then use this grid with a separately sold MagSphere2 accessory.
