Battery Grip Cage for BMPCC 6K Pro Camera

Designed for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro, the Kondor Blue BMPCC 6K Pro Battery Grip cage is made from aluminium and protects your camera from impact or common drop angles. It also adds multiple accessory mounts to help create a cinema setup with your camera. The cage features an open design to maintain access to the camera’s controls, slots, and ports. It consists of a top plate, a bottom plate, and side plates. The top plate features a bubble level to ensure the camera is balanced, multiple ¼”-20 and ⅜”-16 ARRI-standard threads, sensor plane markers, and dual cold shoe mounts. The bottom plate is compatible with a bridge plate and includes Helicoil steel threads, ¼”-20 tripod mounting threads, and a magnetic tool storage space. The side plates feature built-in HDMI and USB-C cable clamps to prevent the cables from accidentally disconnecting, loop strap holes, a comfortable grip design, and multiple ¼”-20 and ARRI-standard ⅜”-16 threads. The removable NATO rails are present on the top and all sides of the cage to enable additional accessory attachment.

Start/Stop Trigger Button on the Top Handle

The included top handle can be easily mounted on top of the cage using the NATO rails and also allows you to slide it onto the left and right sides of the cage. It also adds accessory mount options with the integrated multiple ¼”-20 and ⅜”-16 ARRI-standard mounting threads. The top handle includes two cold shoe mounts and anti-twist threads to attach anti-twist accessories like the mini quick-release plates. The start/stop trigger button on the handle allows you to control the camera’s operations of recording videos and capturing still pictures when used with a separately available cable. It features a comfortable and ergonomic grip design for easy portability.

Camera and Accessory Compatibility

The camera cage with the top handle is compatible with the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro and is also compatible with other camera models. The LANC port in the top handle allows you to connect other camera models including those of Canon, Sony, JVC, Z Cam, Panasonic, and others. The separately available extension kit replaces the side rails with longer ones to modify the regular camera cage. It is also compatible with a rod block adapter that can be bought separately. It allows you to add 15 mm rods to the cage at a standard height of 85 mm without the need for another baseplate.
