Full Camera Cage with a Top Handle

The Kondor Blue BMPCC 6K/4K Ultimate Rig is designed for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K/6K to provide protection, handheld functionality, and various accessory mounting options. The aluminium, four-sided cage features a built-in level to ensure that the camera remains balanced in addition to a variety of accessory mounts. The NATO rails on the top can be used to attach the top handle, which provides additional accessory mounting options and a comfortable grip design. The cage and the handle feature multiple ¼”-20 and ARRI ⅜”-16 threaded holes, cold shoe mounts, and a 15 mm rod port for attaching monitors/EVF/other accessories. The open design of the cage maintains access to the camera’s slots, ports, and controls. The top handle provides multiple accessory mounts, three of which feature ¼”-20 and ⅜”-16 bushings for you to mount ¼”-20 accessories on top. The top handle is spring-loaded for efficient use.

ARRI-standard Base Plate

The kit includes a 15 mm ARRI-standard base plate featuring a universal design. It features LWS rod support, an ARRI-standard dovetail, and a side-loaded camera plate system that allows you to mount the camera from the top instead of sliding it in from the front. The included Manfrotto 501-standard camera plate comes with ¼”-20 and ⅜”-16 mounting screws and tripod mounting screws allowing you to mount the cage or camera onto a tripod, gimbal or other support systems. It is rubber padded to minimise twisting of the camera inside the cage, preventing any scratches and scuffs. It allows you to create a setup with a large matte box and a big lens.

Variety of Clamps and Adapters

The kit consists of various clamps, adapters, and other accessories to enable a seamless and comprehensive workflow. These include four mini quick-release adapters, a double ball head magic arm, a single 15 mm rod adapter, two anti-twist plates for mini adapters, an XLR cable for audio workflow, an aluminium holder, a USB data-transfer cable, and two 15 mm diameter rods of 8 inches in length. The hand grips are adjustable and allow you to set them into desired positions at the press of a push button. The extension arms can be extended from 8 inches to 11.5 inches.
