Trigger Top Handle and Camera Cage

The Kondor Blue Ultimate Rig for Canon R5 cameras is a basic shoulder mount rig for the Canon R5 camera. It includes a camera cage with a top handle, a universal baseplate, a lens cap, a pair of 15 mm rods, and a 501 quick-release plate. It provides shoulder support and multiple accessory points while protecting the camera against impact or drops. You can control the camera recording for videos and stills with the integrated start/stop trigger on the top handle. The camera cage is made from aluminium and features an open design allowing access to the camera’s slots, ports, and controls. NATO rails on the sides and top of the cage provide easy mounting of the top handle and additional accessories. It is compatible with Canon R, R5, R5 C, and R6 cameras and is economically designed for handheld use. The cold shoe mount in the cage includes a safety pin arrangement to prevent accidental falling out of the attached accessories.

Rubber Padded Universal Baseplate

The Kondor Blue ARRI-standard baseplate features an ARRI-standard dovetail and 15 mm LWS rod support. It has a universal design and is compatible with Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K/6K cages. The side-loaded camera plate system of the baseplate allows you to easily mount the camera from the top instead of sliding it in from the front. It comes with a 501-standard camera plate with 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 mounting screws to attach the plate and the cage to a tripod or any other support. The rubber padding prevents the camera from twisting in the cage and protects it from scratches. It makes it easy to create a setup with a large matte box and a big lens.

Camera Protection and Compatibility

The kit includes an aluminium body cap for Canon RF mount cameras in a black colour. It protects the camera’s mounts, ports, and sensors; the anodised finish of the plate prevents it from any scratches. It features engraved mounting indicators for easy installation by the edge-gripping ridges. It locks into place in the camera’s mount. The two 15 mm PPSh rods are made from aluminium and support various accessories, such as servo motors, battery mounts, follow focus systems, lens supports, and more. Multiple units can be combined using M12 rod extension screws to create custom lengths.
