The Kondor Blue base rig for the Canon EOS C70 camera includes a modular camera cage with a top handle, a universal baseplate, and a pair of 15 mm rods. The camera cage is made from aluminium and protects the camera. It also provides multiple accessory attachment points to create a cinema setup with your camera. The cage features an open design with a top plate, side plates, and a bottom plate, maintaining access to the camera’s controls and ports. The top plate has dual NATO rails for the mounting of the top handle. Other features include a microphone mount; a bubble level to ensure that the camera is balanced; a relocated sensor plane marker; a magnetic tool; dual cold-shoe mounts; and multiple 1/4"-20 and ARRI 3/8”-16 threads for accessory mounting. The side plates also provide accessory attachment points and a comfortable grip design. The bottom plate includes a storage space for the magnetic tool, HDMI protection for connected cables, front M4 threads for lens support, Helicoil steel threads, and side wings with 1/4"-20 threads.

Trigger Handle for Camera Control

The top handle of the cage can be mounted using the NATO rails and it features a start/stop control button that allows full camera control for videos and stills. It supports both Panasonic protocols and Sony LANC for compatibility with a wide range of camera models including Panasonic, Sony, Blackmagic, JVC, Z Cam, and others. The handle includes five 3/8”-16 threaded holes with ARRI locator pins for the attachment of anti-twist accessories like mini quick-release plates. There are over eighteen 1/4" hole options and two cold shoe mounts for accessory mounting. The handle can also slide onto the left and right sides of the cage using NATO rails and offers an ergonomic grip design. The included 15 mm side rod support can be used for the attachment of EVF or monitors.

Universal Bridge Plate for Easy Mounting

The LWS universal bridge plate adds quick-release support to your professional camera rig and can work with ARRI-standard dovetail rigs. The rig can support larger pro cameras and has rubber padding to avoid the twisting of the camera inside the cage. There are 1/4"-20 and 3/8”-16 mounting screws, and front M4 screws for lens support. It allows you to mount the cage or the camera on top of a tripod and features a standard 3.3” rises height to match the camera’s lens height. The 15 mm rod support system is secured with four locking levers.
