Innovative Streamlined Workflow
As modern laptops and computer systems trim down the number of ports and slots available, the 2big Dock v2 makes them all accessible again on your devices. The front-facing hub features a USB 3.2 Gen2 port for charging phones and even transferring data from them. There are memory card slots for CFexpress Type B, CFast 2.0 and SD Cards, so you can offload files from cameras, drones and other devices. For versatile display options, there are dual Thunderbolt ports and a DisplayPort 1.4. This allows daisy-chaining of up to five additional Thunderbolt devices or one USB-C device, and outputs to 8K, 30fps or 4K, 120fps monitors.
Adaptable RAID Configurations
The LaCie RAID Manager allows users to configure the drives in their 2big Dock v2 into different RAID levels for optimising the hard drive for whatever task is at hand. Working with RAID 0 is best for performance, as the drives act like one big drive that enables maximum speed and capacity. RAID 1 configuration, or Mirror Mode, makes the drives mirror each other so the data is the same - meaning if one fails you have a backup. The 2big Dock v2 can also be configured into JBOD for ultimate flexibility. This lets each drive function independently so you have separate drives housed within one large hard drive.
Impressive Compatibility
Going beyond compatibility with Windows and Mac systems, the 2big Dock v2 works with iPads too. By connecting to the USB-C port on an iPad, you can massively increase the device’s storage. The 2big Dock will also power the iPad when connected and it will even allow the iPad to use the USB 3.2, CFexpress Type B, CFast 2.0 and SD Card ports. It makes editing high-quality media on the go possible. For those working with older-generation Thunderbolt 2 Macs, you can still take advantage of the 2big Dock by using a separately purchased Apple Thunderbolt (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter.

Can the drives be removed and replaced if I need more space?
The IronWolf Pro enterprise-class drives can be removed and upgraded to a larger capacity or newer IronWolf Pro drive should you need to. The drives inside the 2Big Dock v2 are covered by a 5-year warranty.
Is the 2big Dock compatible with Thunderbolt 2?
You can still use the 2Big Dock with an older Thunderbolt 2 Mac by purchasing a separately sold Apple Thunderbolt (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter.
What is the storage capacity of the 2big Dock v2?
This 2big Dock v2 has 16TB storage, but there are also 20TB, 28TB, 32TB, 36TB and 40TB models available.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
