Available in short and full-body versions, this 2nd-generation of the 3 Legged Thing QR11 Universal L Bracket is designed to fit most mirrorless and DSLR cameras. This Arca-Swiss compatible bracket allows you to switch from landscape to portrait orientation and features a cut-out base for better access to moveable LCD screens. Additionally, it comes with a versatile 3 Legged Thing Hex tool, too.

What are the two sizes for?

The two different size options are to enable a wide range of compatibility across mainstream camera brands. The largest of the two is designed for full-body and gripped cameras.

How much does this bracket weigh?

To prevent adding excess bulk to your setup, 3 Legged Thing has kept the design of their universal L bracket incredibly lightweight, weighing only 104g. The full body version weighs a further 8g (112g total).

Is this bracket available in other colours?

3 Legged Thing brackets are available in 3 different colours - grey, copper and matte black (darkness). The matte black variant is a limited edition.

What is an L-bracket used for?

An L-brackets primary purpose is to allow you to rotate your camera from landscape to portrait perspective (horizontal to vertical) without having to roll your tripod head 90 degrees.
