Professional Deck Solution

Control up to 8 HyperDeck Extreme 8K HDR and legacy decks with this traditional HyperDeck Extreme Control system. Designed with an integrated editor, the deck solution is quick and effortless to use. It features multiple control buttons, such as a large search dial with positioning, shuttle, and jog options, deck status, and timecode. You can use this professional system to edit various video standards. It allows you to convert a 4:9 interlaced SD master to 16:9 1080p HD using the Teranex Express converter.

Smooth Editing Function

The HyperDeck Extreme Control system has a built-in editor that enables deck-to-deck editing. If you want to edit an old tape, press the PLAYER button, select the in and out points along with the recorder, and press EDIT. You can also press the ENTRY, IN, and OUT buttons simultaneously to enter the desired points. Press the IN and OUT buttons if you want to see the edit point on the time counter display. If you want to trim the edit points, simply press the TRIM + or - button simultaneously with the IN or OUT button.

Deck Status & Timecode Display

With the Blackmagic HyperDeck control unit, you get to control multiple decks effectively. It features a large timecode display with full deck status and indicates the accurate timecode of the selected deck, while the timecode source switch controls what has to be displayed on the time counter. This control unit also features a horizontal light bar indicator so you can see where the search dial is positioned and gain visual feedback. This is especially important if you are operating the decks remotely. The Blackmagic system includes a correctly locked servo system with an indicator light to highlight when the deck is in record or play mode. Remote decks show the transport state and time counter so that you can know if the deck is distant.
