Multiple Applications
With popular preloaded apps, this capture card allows you to begin your task right after installation. Applications such as DaVinci, Fusion, Final Cut Pro are all compatible with this device. In addition to this, the DeckLink 4K features a software driver with integrated firmware that helps it to perform fluently with the latest software on the market. The firmware upgrades frequently to ensure optimal performance.
Format Support
Ensuring flexible format support, the DeckLink 4K enables you to work with compressed and RAW file formats, such as ProRes and DNxHD. It presents pixel perfection in every frame, so that when you work with uncompressed videos, you get detailed keying with highlighted composition and excellent colour correction. Plus, the device is ready for use with common file formats, allowing you to perform editing, add effects, and alter the design with popular software applications.
Optical Fibre Connections
Adding to DeckLink’s versatility are the two optical fibre connections that help to connect up to two optional fibre modules for both input and output. The SMPTE compatible optical modules can be added for up to 12G-SDI speeds, enabling you to connect a variety of equipment. Moreover, this helps retain 12G-SDI speed without any quality loss.
Built-in Conversion
With an on-board optimised conversion function, this intuitive capture card enables you to achieve your ideal resolution. It can convert Ultra HD format into HD on SDI outputs. Plus, the card’s processing software lets you further downscale the captured content to SD format for space-saving. Also, the HD up hardware conversion is selectable between 4:3 pillar box, 14:9 zoom, and 16:9 zoom when converting an SD file to HD.
Multi-Rate Support
There is a dual-link multi-rate that supports HDMI and SDI video connections that are switchable between SD, HD, 2K, and 4K file resolutions. Another great aspect of this device is that the component analogue video connections are switchable between SD and HD. However, the card is not able to capture from copy protected HDMI sources.

Is this device capable of cross-conversion?
This capture card features a built-in high-quality hardware cross conversion function from 720p to 1080p and vice-versa on playback. The device is also capable of Ultra-HD down conversion and HD up conversion during playback.
Can you use it externally by connecting it to a PC?
It is preferable and safe to install this capture card directly on the PCI Express card slot on your computer. For Mac users, a Mac Pro computer with a PCI Express card slot is required to use this card. Also, this 8 lane generation 2 card is compatible with 16 lane PCI express card slots in Windows, Linux, and macOS.
Is this capture card capable of 3D processing?
This capture card is capable of dual-stream and frame packed 3D stereoscopic capture and playback at the full bandwidth of 4:4:4:4 RGB.
Can you capture from multiple sources simultaneously with this card?
The DeckLink 4K is a great card with support for SD to 4K 60 FPS resolutions. However, it is not capable of capturing from multiple sources simultaneously. You can capture only from a single source at a time. But that doesn’t mean this card is not functional. It can take care of all your playback and capturing tasks.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
