Which mic is compatible with this mount? Does it also reduce ambient tones?

This shock mount is designed to work with the Neumann U 89 i microphone. You cannot use it with any other microphones. It’s not suitable for reducing ambient tones or background noises. For that, you can use a foam windscreen. This shock mount does however effectively reduces handling and rumbling noise.

Can you connect this mount with any stand?

This mount features a 5/8"-27 female thread for connection with most widely-used stands. However, the mount is supplied with a thread adapter that connects with 1/2” and 3/8” thread as well.

Is there a swivelling function on this mount?

There is a swivelling function on this mount, allowing you to adjust the angle of the attached mic for the desired positioning and recording.

How does the elastic suspension help?

The elastic suspension system suspends the microphone and holds it away from anything which transmit rumbles. It holds the microphone in the cradle to prevent excessive movement and noise generation, mean you get a perfect clean sound recording.
