Washi F 135 Film is a fluorographic black and white film with a film speed of ISO 100. It delivers high grain and medium contrast to the images. It is a special X-ray film, without the coating of an anti-halation layer, which was originally used to diagnose mass lung disease. It combines the aesthetic quality of X-ray film with the classic camera film to offer a high diffusion effect.

    How should the film be loaded?

    It is recommended to load the Washi F 135 film under shadow and first take 6 empty view shots before you shoot your first picture.

    What is the film ISO?

    This black and white film has a film speed of ISO 100 which delivers high grain and medium contrast to the images.

    Is it an orthochromatic film or a fluorographic?

    It is a fluorographic black and white film which was used as an X-ray film to diagnose mass lung disease. It delivers a beautiful grain structure due to which it can be used for photography of all subjects.

    What is the film size?

    The film is available in non-DX-coded 135 recycled cassettes with 24 exposures. It is not recommended to use the recycled cassette with fully automatic or motorised cameras.

    How can the film be processed?

    The film can be processed with standard black and white developers like Rodinal, LC29, D76, and HC-110 at a temperature of 20 degrees Celsius. They all require different processing times.
