FAQs:
What is the film size?
The black and white film comes in a non-DX-coded 35 mm film roll with 36 exposures.
Why does it produce too much contrast with outdoor views
The Washi A is an orthochromatic film made with silver halide crystals which are naturally sensitive to blue colour. The sky is overexposed easily in the outdoor view which is why the skies in this film appear white.
What is the film ISO?
This Washi black and white film has a very slow film speed of ISO 12 which renders very high contrast. This slow speed requires a lot of natural light for best results and delivers an exceptionally fine grain structure.
For what can this film be used?
The film is recommended to be used for astrophotography, urban photography, portrait and still life photography.
How should the film be loaded?
It is recommended to load the film under shadow to yield the best results. To avoid the light piping effect, you must take 3 blank pictures before starting the roll.
