Are you able to remove one of the tripod legs to use it as a monopod?

The Brian 2.0 features three removable legs, which can be used as either a monopod, boom, or selfie-stick. This does require additional accessories.

Can you attach an external monitor to this tripod?

There is a 1/4"-20 threaded mount situated on the canopy, which supports the addition of an accessory arm (sold separately). You are then able to simply mount an external monitor, microphone, or LED light directly to this arm.
