The CF Tripod

The Sachtler 75/2 Carbon Fibre Tripod is a wholly professional and highly durable tripod, and by nature, lighter than the Aluminium option. This dual-extractable aluminium tripod is strong and lightweight, and it has a packed-down length of 87cm, but can extend to a maximum height of 175cm! It’s a perfect partner for Sachtler’s FSB Mk II 75mm Fluid Head and it is ideal for filming with DSLR and ultra-light DV camcorders.

Are all FSB Mk II heads compatible with all Sachtler 75mm heads?

FSB Mk II heads are compatible with the entire range of Sachtler 75mm heads, with the exception of SOOM.

Can the FSB Mk II be attached directly to Sachtler pedestal systems?

The FSB Mk II heads can be combined with the Sachtler Pedestal C I, which can be defined as a pneumatic column with a tripod. With a large load capacity of 20 kg and weighing just 9.2 kg, this is an ideal compact solution for flexible in-studio and on-location shooting.

As with the previous models, are you able to remove the stud from the bowl of the FSB Mk II?

You are able to remove the stud from the bowl of the FSB Mk II in the same way as with the previous models.

Are FSB Camera Plates and Pan Bars compatible with the full Mk II Series?

The Mk II Series is compatible with both FSB Camera Plates and Pan Bars.

Will Sachtler be introducing an FSB 4 Mk II?

Sachtler have confirmed that they are not looking to introduce the FSB 4 Mk II.

Sachtler is not looking to introduce a Touch & Go version of the FSB Mk II Series. The manufacturer recommends the aktiv8T if Touch & Go capabilities are required.
