Hawk-Woods offers a wide range of dummy battery adaptors for the popular Canon cameras, which allows you to operate your Canon camera from an alternative broadcast battery source. The Hawk-Woods DCD1 is a dummy battery adaptor, which allows you to input an external power source into your Canon EOS D7/D5 camera. Fine quality materials are used in the construction of this unit to ensure excellent strength and durability. Regulated to 8.4V, it is designed to accept voltages up to 30-volt but is generally used with V-Lok batteries. You are required to plug the DCD1 into a D-Tap power socket on a suitable battery fitting for proper functioning. Additionally, it is equipped with an 8.4V regulator, which makes it compatible with all outputs distributing 100V.
