The BirdDog Eyes P100 camera is an entry-level PTZ that provides broadcast-quality visuals. Characterised as a full NDI camera, you have access to a visually lossless variable bit-rate iFrame codec that is capable of 140 Mb/s at 1080p60. The P100 offers 10x optical zoom and is tailor-made for small/mid-sized indoor environments. Due to its compact size and broadcast-quality visuals, this PTZ is ideal for remote studio set-ups, reality TV, concerts, places of worship, and theatre productions. By featuring in-built 3G-SDI and NDI outputs, you are able to implement the P100 within an NDI workflow and/or utilise legacy SDI equipment. You are granted further access to auto, manual, and push focus modes; alongside 128 accessible presets. It is also compatible with the BirdDog PTZ Keyboard and BirdDog Central software (both sold separately). If you require pro-level performance and flexibility - the P100 is a good place to start.

NDI (Network Device Interface) is a variable bit rate iFrame codec, capable of 140 Mb/s at 1080p60. It is also a visually lossless connection, which is quite rare for PTZ camera systems as they stereotypically take from security cameras with NDI|HX - a compressed, long-GOP, H.264 variant reaching 12Mbits at 1080p60. To simplify, this means that you are provided with broadcast-quality visuals from this smart little PTZ system. The P100 is further capable of simultaneous NDI and SDI outputs for live recording within a full NDI workflow. This makes the P100 a truly futureproof PTZ camera, as you can still utilise an SDI workflow controlled via RS422, RS485, and RS232 - before converting to NDI when you are ready.
