FAQs:
Which devices are compatible with the transmitter?
The Sekonic Broncolor Transmitter is used for the L858D Speedmaster Light Meter to control the power level and trigger flashes from the flash units wirelessly. It is compatible with transmitters and receivers with RFS using a 2.4 GHz radiofrequency.
What are the available radio triggering measurement modes?
The radio triggering measurement is available in 3 modes: Radio Triggering Flash Mode, Radio Triggering Multiple (Cumulative) Flash Mode, and Flash Duration Analysis Ratio Triggering Mode. In the first mode, the meter controls the output power of the flash units and turns the modelling lamps on or off. The second mode is used when the light generated by the flash units is inadequate for the desired F-stop setting. In the third mode, the meter detects flash brightness, f-stop, and flash duration.
Is individual flash triggering available?
When using the Broncolor radio system, individual flash triggering is not available for each Lamp Address. Even if one Lamp Address is selected, all the flashes in the same Studio Address will fire.
How many addresses are supported by the transmitter?
The RT-BR Transmitter for L858D can access 99 Radio Studio Addresses and 40 Lamp Addresses.
