STC Clip Astro Nightscape Filter for Canon APS-C

The STC Clip Astro Nightscape Filter for Canon APS-C camera bodies is a new and unique solution for cutting light pollution and retaining original colour of landscapes and cityscapes. Similarly, to Astro-Multispectra it utilises a superior colour coating design; however, unlike the Astro Multispectra it allows for 40% mercury and sodium light transmittance. They also minimise colour shift in your images and ensure a clear focus. The filter is easily attached just above the imaging sensor rather than the lens. It fits snuggly and stays secure after the lens is attached to the camera body.

• The frame is crafted from A2 stainless steel that is virtually non-magnetic and less brittle at low temperatures
• The glass in the frame can be replaced with another filter including an Astro Filter or the ND filter
• Features a high-quality double-sided NANO Anti-Smudge coating that guards against water and grease
• Recommended focal distance for the used lens is 14mm or more
• Optical axis will change with the installation of the clip filter as the angle of view will become wider
• To get the best effect use the Live View mode as you will have to lift the mirror to install the filter which can block the optical viewfinder
• Compatible with Canon EOS 7D Mark II/EOS 80D/EOS 70D/EOS 77D/9000D
• Not compatible with Canon EOS M series mirrorless cameras unless used with an EF-EOS M mount adapter
