Featuring the intuitive control panel, DirectSelect will allow you to select the cooking zones and set the correct power level you need easily and quickly. When you need to get quick and easy meals on the dinner table even faster, the PowerBoost mode can help. Adding a boost of power for ultra-quick heating, this works perfectly on your induction hob to boil large quantities of water, and you can heat almost 35 percent faster compared to the highest power level.
The Hob has a short time memory, when you turn the cooktop off, it will save the last selected settings, so when you turn the hob back on within a short amount of time all your former settings are waiting for you. You can also set a timer to turn off the assigned cooking zone after the set time, and featuring the handy ChildLock, the control panel will be locked to prevent any accidentaly changes in settings.
For a more convenient and safe way of cooking, the Bosch Series 6 PIV851FB1E Induction Hob only generates heat where it is needed, in the base of the pan. Thanks to the lower temperature this will keep both big and little hands safe from burning. Not only that, but you can save a lot of energy compared to a glass-ceramic hob and even boil two litres of water twice as fast!
