Upgrade from 2014 model to 2024

My previous AEG dryer was a model from 2014. It probably could have been repairable (the refrigerant quit turning on). When I was choosing a new dryer, I did consider other brands, however I whittled back to AEG and AO having factored price and features.
Out of all things to be impressed with, it's the fluff filter assembly. It's a whole improvement to the previous assembly. The double-filter device rests on a rubber seal, which ensures fluff does not go anywhere near the refrigerant fins — and I'm one who vacuums after every use. Obviously, I cannot say if this is a unique design because I cannot see how other brands do this, but from old AEG to new, there is a positive difference.
Clothes aren't hot after the cycle, usually the case after two or three uses in one day.
