With the clever auto heat up function, you’ll never have to wait long for your meal to cook. When you choose this option, the zone automatically switches on at the highest heat setting. Then, it lowers to the temperature you choose, to let your food finish cooking. So, it’s great if you’re preparing pasta – the water will boil extra-quickly, which means it’ll be ready to serve in no time.
Whether you’re using a griddle or warming a roasting tin, this hob’s extendable cooking zone offers space for bigger cookware. The back right zone has 2 sections – the inner circle for saucepans, and the outer rectangle for larger pots. Simply place the gribble on the zone and it’ll recognise the size of it, automatically warming the bigger rectangle. This means it’ll evenly heat the whole area, for thorough cooking across the whole pan.
Because this hob has a residual heat indicator for each zone, you’ll find it much safer to use. When an area is still hot, the red light will turn on – so you’ll know there’s still leftover heat to keep food warm. Then, the light switches off once the zone’s cooled down. This shows when it’s safe to touch again, letting you wipe it clean without risk of burning your fingers.

When measuring for a ceramic hob, the depth and height are usually standard, so you should focus on measuring the width – it’ll be between 60 and 90cm. Get your new hob fitted the same day it’s delivered. Our engineers will disconnect your old appliance before getting your new one set up. We'll give your new appliance a full health check to ensure it’s safe and ready to use straight away.
If you’ve bought a new appliance but you don’t want us to connect it for you, all you’ll need to do is disconnect your old one, empty it and place it by the entrance of your property, ready for us to pick up. Or, if you’ve ordered our connection service with a new appliance, we’ll disconnect your old one for you.
If you haven’t bought a new appliance, we can still collect your old one and take it away for recycling. However, as we won’t be able to come into your home to disconnect it, you’ll need to make sure it’s by the entrance to your property, ready for us to pick up. Our experts will recycle it safely and responsibly in our state-of-the-art facility.
The cost of our Remove & Recycle service goes towards safely transporting the product to our recycling plant. Under the WEEE regulations, recycling costs are primarily covered by the product manufacturer.
Also, while we’re picking up your appliance, if you’ve got any smaller kitchen electricals that need recycling – such as kettles, toasters or blenders – we’ll happily take those away too at no extra charge. Just pass them to your driver when we’re picking up your larger appliance.
Appliances come with quite a bit of bulky packaging. We’ll unpack your item, let you inspect it then take away all of the plastic wrap and foam packaging.
