Does the job.

Bought to replace a 2015 27” iMac that had slowed to a snails pace.
Performs as expected. Quick enough (compared to my old iMac) but not lightning fast for what I want ( MS Office and browsing). And of course links with all my existing Apple devices.
Transfer was a little problematic. Had to spend 45 mins on the phone to Apple support. Had to remove firewall and antivirus software from old iMac amongst other fixes. Small HDD on the Mini also meant I couldn’t transfer over all my old files, photos and videos, which took about half the 1 TB HDD on
the iMac.
Paired the Mini with a Dell 27” 4K monitor. Not quite as sharp as the old iMac Retina display but crisp enough for everyday work and a lot cheaper than an Apple monitor. Don’t use anything less than a 4K monitor - I returned a FHD monitor as it felt like I was going back 10 years.
The Mini’s footprint means it occupies quite a bit of space on my small desk and not as elegant a set up with the monitor sat on top as the iMac all-in-one.
Sound from the Mini is incredibly tinny and the monitor isn’t much better so a separate Bluetooth speaker was necessary, as was a new webcam. Kept the old keyboard and a replacement wireless mouse bought a few years ago to replace the battery munching Apple mouse. Will be buying a new rechargeable Apple keyboard.
Only niggles are the limited connections on the Mini and the monitor meaning a hub is also needed. The on switch buried on a rear corner is awkward. Would have been better at the front or on top.
But for the price, it was good value to be able keep in the Apple environment.

Fast relatively affordable by Apple standards and very stylish. Easy to start up but do you do need to source screen, mouse and keyboard separately.
